Why Start Build Launch

  • Evidence before investment. Prototype and test with real users before committing a bigger budget.
  • Real, working builds. Live products and prototypes you can click through, each labelled with the stage it has actually reached.
  • Accessibility from the start. Designed for people with low digital confidence and assistive technology, not added at the end.
  • Clear prices up front. Indicative prices are published, so you can plan before the first conversation.
  • Award-winning work. HomeRelay won the Future World Alliance Women’s Day AI Buildathon.

06 · Questions

Frequently asked questions

Do I need technical knowledge?

No. Describe what you need or the problem you are trying to solve in plain language. We handle the technical side and explain decisions as we go.

What if I’m not sure what I need yet?

That’s fine. Choose “Not sure yet” on the contact form. For organisations, a workshop or Discovery is designed to work out what is worth building.

How much does it cost?

Organisational work has published indicative prices: workshops from £1,500, Build Labs from £4,750, Discovery from £3,000 and Discovery with a prototype and testing from £6,000. Website and product builds are scoped individually. See ways to work together.

Is a prototype the finished product?

No. A prototype is built to test an idea with real users and give you evidence for the next decision. Production software, where it is needed, is scoped separately.

Who owns what you build?

Your data, content and brand stay yours. You receive a licence to use what we build for your own organisation, and we keep our existing code and tools. Full ownership can be agreed separately. See our License Terms.

What happens after launch?

We fix any defects in the agreed work for 30 days after launch. Ongoing support is available as a monthly plan, and hosting and other services are paid by you directly, so you stay in control of your accounts.

What is the difference between a website build and a template?

A website build is a service: we design and build the site for you. A template is a product: a ready-made design you install and edit yourself. See website services or WordPress templates.

Have a problem you think digital could solve?

Start with the problem. We can help you work out what to build, test the idea and decide what should happen next.
